StarLifter is looking for a dynamic, demand generation manager to boost our external presence , and drive qualified sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will not only strategize and implement robust demand generation initiatives but also have the creative skills to create content across various mediums, including videos, blog posts, and social media content.

Who we are

StarLifter is on a mission to simplify and streamline data analysis for every scenario.  Our platform replaces the patchwork of solutions operators are using to get the insight they need to run their business.  This includes (1) business intelligence tools and their required data analysis stacks, (2) purpose-built point solutions (think FP&A reporting, KPI software, customer QBR reporting), and (3) the dreaded spreadsheet supported by a team member. 

 

In short, we are the answer to the "there has to be another way" heard from most office suites and operations floors.

 

Founded in early 2022, we are based in Indianapolis with an office in San Diego.  We believe our bold vision may only be realized by attracting and retaining the right talent.

Responsibilites

  • Strategize, develop, and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies aligned with StarLifter's business objectives, target audiences, and sales goals.

  • Conceptualize, produce, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across channels such as email, content marketing, social media, webinars, events, and more.

  • Lead content creation initiatives, crafting engaging videos, insightful blog posts, compelling social media content, webinars, and other relevant materials tailored to resonate with target audiences.

  • Utilize creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial methods to locate our target audience and implement effective strategies for fostering lasting relationships with customers and prospects.

  • Drive lead generation efforts by capturing potential customer data through the activities above.
    Collaborate closely with sales, product, and other teams to ensure alignment in messaging, shared goals, and integrated strategies.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics, ROI, and other KPIs.  Continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Utilize marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other cutting-edge technologies to optimize demand generation workflows and enhance lead management practices.

  • Oversee and manage the demand generation budget, allocating resources judiciously across content creation, channels, and campaigns to maximize ROI.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or similar roles.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing impactful multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and other relevant technologies.

  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, project management skills, and communication acumen.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, operate autonomously, and collaborate effectively across teams.

How we define success

Roles with variety require focus.  Here's how we'll determine what success looks like for this role:

  • Lead Generation:  Monthly/quarterly number of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) generated.

  • Conversion Rates: Conversion rates at each stage of the sales funnel (e.g., suspect to lead, lead to MQL, MQL to SQL) and for different channels (e.g., website, email, social media).

  • Campaign Management: Regular reporting on campaign performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CPL, conversion rates) and continuous optimization based on data-driven insights.

  • Entrepreneurial in nature & spirit. They believe there’s nothing they can’t learn or master. They need little direction or coaching and can work without a safety net.

  • Prepared to work in an environment with little to no infrastructure - for now. Coming with a list of suspects and ready to pick up the phone and launch a sales process on their own. Confidence you can provide for yourself for 12 months.

  • Excited about the prospect of being part of a team to get StarLifter into sustained flight. A team player, willing to help other & likewise accept support from others
